- SCHOLARSHIPS
The UVHBA has set up three Perpetual Scholarships of a combined $120,000. Brigham Young University, Snow College, and Utah Valley State College have each received $40,000 that is invested and the interest is awarded yearly as scholarships to students in the Building Construction and Management Programs. The Leonel E. Castillo Scholarship is another scholarship available for members, their employess, and immediate family members that awards $12,000 annually.

The UVHBA is dedicated to protecting your company. The Government Affairs Committee meets with elected officials and monitors numerous government issues, such as impact fees, zoning, and building codes, and the bottom line for your company.

- ACTIVE COMMUNITY SERVICE
UVHBA members are active in community service. Habitat for Humanity has been the beneficiary of many homes completely built and donated to the organization. Kids on the Move, Make a Wish Foundation, Children’s Justice Center, The Joy of Downs, SubContractors for Santa, the local Firemen’s Association and Cougar Club are all organizations who have benefited by members of the UVHBA.
